Good morning New Covenant Nation! Here's your morning briefing:
- MUDOUT/CLEANUP TRAINING TONIGHT 6PM at New Covenant - A team of disaster relief pros will be here at New Covenant to do a training session on how to properly prepare your home after a flood....all steps will be covered. This will be a great chance for you to ask any questions you may have wherever you are in the process. It will equip you to help others by doing the right things in the right ways. Before you do anything else, you will probably want to hear what they have to say. Join us at 6pm.
- As supplies are starting to make their way back into the Home Depots and Lowe's, we wanted to assess what you need to work on your homes. My plan was to locate some good push brooms, a few shop vacs, etc. and make them avail here for your use. The easiest way to let me know and keep track is for you to COMMENT on this blog post below with exactly what you need. If you have trouble commenting for some reason, text me your name and what you need to 715.6149. If we can find them in BTR today, they will be here after lunch.
- DISINFECTANT/MOLD KILLER - I have 168 bottles of Shockwave concentrate coming THIS Friday. These are for our New Covenant family only and they are FREE to you. The representative told me this morning that one 10 ounce bottle makes enough to spray one home. This is the product the international relief agency housed here at New Covenant uses and the same one several state and national disaster relief directors told me is the ONLY one they will use. Mixes 2 ounces to one gallon of water. If applied properly, it will do an average 2,000 square foot home. Even if you've used something else, you may want a bottle of this to spray as a last step before you put sheetrock up.
